Stunning me dead

Well, you know,
I mean by now,
I should have already said
Something.

Or anything for that matter
But now it's all awkward
As you have already started
To turn away your head forward.

Only half a second or so left
To save but the world but I'm afraid
My words, they are all broken and twisted
Like scrambled eggs.

While I try to fork out
The very best, The silence
is making a sharp, high pitched noise
like scratching on an empty plate.

Too late. Times up. It's all set now
And I rather blame you instead.
You and your blinding smile.
Stunning me dead.
